This is an update to my initial review (see below for first review). Last summer we had our kitchen renovated. As you can imagine we were anxious about the amount of time it would take. We went to see Kelly again for the design and consultation and she reassured us to not stress over this. As with our bathroom designs, the process was very smooth with Kelly and she helped us keep costs down. Sheilagh the PM was very responsive and Michel and the reno crew were efficient, polite and did excellent work. Believe it or now, we had a functioning kitchen after 3 weeks! I’ve heard horror stories about kitchen projects lasting so much longer than what was originally anticipated and to my surprise, even after encountering major structural issues, the time frame was met. I was so thankful to have chosen a large company that has all the staff needed to address any issue.

From the design meetings (Amazing designer: Kelly Ouellette) to the finished product (Thank you Joel and team), the experience with Distinctive was fantastic! It’s simply a well managed company (Dominic Manzo is extremely well organized and very pleasant to deal with) that hires true professionals to complete every step of your project. We will be starting our second project with them in the spring! I could not recommend them more!

I had a great experience with Distinctive Bathrooms and kitchen. From my first meeting with designer Kelly I knew I was in good hands. She listened to my concerns and my style ideas then guided me through the process of picking out all products for my bathroom renovation as well as answering all my construction related questions with confidence. DBK supplied and installed my bathroom on time and within budget. The installers were patient with me when I had questions and took the time to answer thoroughly.

DBK replaced the shower in my ensuite bathroom. The work was completed on schedule we are very pleased with the outcome. A few weeks later I had a minor issue with a rust stain. Contacted DBK on a Monday and by Friday the issue was rectified. I must say that this is the best after sales service I have ever received from any contractor I have dealt with. I would not hesitate to recommend DBK.

One of the best renovation experiences I’ve had! The entire crew was incredibly friendly and professional. Tanya was exceptional in helping us design our dream bathroom to our exact liking. Although bathroom renovations aren’t something we undertake every day or even every year, I’m confident that I’ll return for any future renovation projects. Highly recommended!

We had our Kitchen fully renovated this summer. Kelly and her team were professional, organized and easy to work with. Kelly came up with a design that we had not even thought of. We are so happy with the outcome. We would highly recommend her to anyone! The contractors were phenomenal, they treated our home like it was theirs. Very respectful. The weekly & daily schedules that we received were very helpful. They definitely know what they are doing. If we had to renovate our kitchen again, which we won’t LOL, we would not hesitate to reach out to them. Fantastic job. Thank you Kelly, thank you to the contractors.

We contracted with Distinctive Bathrooms and Kitchens to do a ensuite bathroom reno. The work was completed between mid March and mid April 2023. We were very happy with all aspects of the project, from the pre work planning sessions with our very talented designer Emily Meechan to all aspects of the workmanship and communication. Sheilagh’s project management communication was exceptional, as was Dan’s exquisite shower tile work and Ray and Joel’s general contacting skills that attended to our every request. What a team they were. Our sincere thanks. We would not hesitate to use Distinctive again for our home reno needs.

Huguette and I had our kitchen and three bathrooms completely renovated. Sara Akra was our designer for all the projects and we were very pleased with the design and results. Thanks also to the excellent team of coordinators, schedulers and workers who were in our home for 7 weeks until completion. We knew everyone by name and are very pleased with the high standards and excellent workmanship the workers displayed at all times.
